Dislocated Worker Assistance Center

The Dislocated Worker Assistance Center is a branch of the Job Center dedicated to you, the worker who has been laid off.

All assistance is FREE, and open to everyone.

- Case Managers on site, dedicated to all who have been recently laid off from their jobs

- Resource Room with program information and job search computers

- LTC offers career counseling and FREE computer instruction

Obtain the Skills that employers demand today through this FREE program

- START with personalized Career Guidance and Labor Market Information

- FOLLOW with Financial Support for books, tuition, and specific class needs

- KEEP GOING with assistance for Child Care and Transportation Costs

- FINISH with employed search assistance and complete Job Center Services

From the West: Exit Kohler Memorial Drive at Taylor Drive – Turn RIGHT at the bottom of the exit ramp – Turn RIGHT immediately past the Auto Shop where it says ENTER

From the North or South: Exit off I-43 to Hwy 23. Follow the above instructions

From the East: Exit Kohler Memorial Drive at Taylor Drive – Turn LEFT at the bottom of the ramp – Under Kohler Drive, turn right past the Auto Shop where it says ENTER

Lakeshore Community Job Fair 2008

Lakeshore Technical College will be hosting a Job Fair at the Cleveland Campus on Tuesday, April 8th from Noon to 5 p.m. The Job Fair will be in the Multipurpose Room, which is L177. Join a variety of employers from the Lakeshore adn surrounding areas who will provide information on their companies, products, and job opportunities. Job applications and resumes will be accepted by al employers. Employers will be accepting a general application that can be obtained at teh Job Centers or Job Fair- save time and complete the application before attending. Bring copies (resumes and/or applications) to distribute to employers. Free admission for all job seekers. Visit gotoltc.edu/jobfair for more information.
